Idea 1: how does Martin Scorsese use narrative to engage the audience?

idea 2:  How does Penelope Spheeris allow the characters to engage with the audience

idea 1: For my first Idea I want to explore how martin Scorsese uses narrative to engage the audience, I will be looking into interviews with the Director of the wolf of wall street Martin Scorsese and the actual Jordan Belfort as well as the cast. I will also be looking into websites to find more information which will help me develop my essay further.

Idea 2: My second idea was how does Penelope Spheeris allow the characters to engage with the audience, this idea would focus mainly on the engagement with the audience which id be looking into interviews and websites.    

chosen idea:

I decided to chose my first idea because I felt I would be able to research a lot more into the wolf of wall street about narrative than Wayne's world, the wolf of wall street is also a much longer movie so Id be able to analyse and talk about the narrative more.
